چکیده

This paper presents the rational and the design of a time-triggered low-cost sensor network that conforms to the design principles of the timetriggered architecture. TTP/A is a multimaster UART-based sensor network that provides temporally predictable communication to sensor and actuator nodes in a distributed real-time system. It provides multiple views of a sensor node, such as a periodic real-time service view and an aperiodic diagnostic view. Since the protocol provides start-up synchronization of the sensor nodes by the master, the functionality of the sensor node can be implemented on any low-cost microcontroller with an imprecise on-chip resonator, a timer, and a digital input/output port. The UART functionality can be implemented in software. The construction of fault-tolerant sensor networks using TTP/A is shown. An implementation of the TTP/A protocol is presented.

TTP/A: A Low-Cost, Highly Efficient, Time-Triggered Fieldbus Architecture

TTP/A is the fieldbus protocol of the Time Triggered Architecture (TTA). It provides periodic transmission of realtime data and allows for on-line configuration, diagnostics, and maintenance by use of an interface file system. It is well integrated with the TTP/C protocol and is designed to meet the requirements of a low-cost sensor/actuator bus. TTP/A is a master-slave protocol where the maste...

Using Sensor Fusion in a Time-Triggered Network

Smart transducer technologies support the composability, configurability and maintainability of sensor networks. Sensor fusion techniques on the other hand offer a lot of advantages for systems that interact with their environment via a set of sensors. The combination of both leads to an effective system regarding cost, robustness, decomposability and maintainability. This paper examines archit...

The Effect of Radio Waves on the Quality and Safety of Wearable Sensors in Healthcare

The industrial Internet of Things (IoT) is aiming to interconnect humans, machines, materials, processes and services in a network. Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) comprises the less power consuming, light weight and effective Sensor Nodes (SNs) for higher network performance. Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) and sensor networks are both wireless technologies that provide limitless future po...

An Energy Efficient Clustering Method using Bat Algorithm and Mobile Sink in Wireless Sensor Networks

Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) consist of sensor nodes with limited energy. Energy efficiency is an important issue in WSNs as the sensor nodes are deployed in rugged and non-care areas and consume a lot of energy to send data to the central station or sink if they want to communicate directly with the sink. Recently, the IEEE 802.15.4 protocol is employed as a low-power, low-cost, and low rat...

The study of humidity effect on carbon dioxide gas sensing properties of zinc oxide nanowires assisted by polyvinyl alcohol network at room temperature

In this research, Zinc oxide (ZnO) nanostructures were synthesized by low cost hydrothermal method. The grown ZnO nanostructures had a dispersed distribution with nanowire morphology and the specific surface area of about 7 m2.gr-1 which they have crystalized in hexagonal wurtzite structure. ZnO nanowires/polyvinyl alcohol network (ZP) on the epoxy glass substrate with cu-interdigited electrods...
